Designed for race cars, track builds, engine swaps and vehicles where air conditioning is no longer required, this purpose-built BMW AC delete pulley replaces the A/C compressor while allowing you to continue using the factory drive belt.

Proven on STROM B48 race engines at speeds of up to 9,500 RPM, this is a simple and effective solution for removing unnecessary A/C components from performance-focused BMW builds.

Remove the A/C Compressor & Keep the Factory Belt

Deleting the air-conditioning system from a modern BMW engine can create complications with the factory accessory belt routing.

The STROM AC Delete Pulley is designed to occupy the A/C compressor location and maintain the correct belt path, allowing the original-style drive belt to be retained.

This eliminates the need to experiment with alternative belt lengths or custom accessory-drive configurations.

Developed for STROM's own performance and motorsport applications, the AC delete pulley has been tested on B48 race engines at up to 9,500 RPM.

Broad BMW B-Series Engine Compatibility

The standard AC delete pulley is compatible with a wide range of longitudinally mounted BMW B-series engines.

Compatible engine families include:

• B38

• B46

• B47

• B48

• B57

• B58

• S58

This makes the pulley useful beyond B48 and B58 applications, particularly for custom BMW engine swaps and motorsport builds.

Standard Version Compatibility

The standard version is designed for applications originally fitted with the following BMW A/C compressor part numbers:

• 64526994082

• 64529299328

If your vehicle uses one of these A/C compressors, the standard AC Delete Pulley is the applicable version.

B58D 48V Version

BMW B58D engines equipped with the 48V charging system use a different A/C compressor arrangement.

For these applications, select the dedicated B58D 48V version.

Compatible factory A/C compressor:

• 64527948807 – B58D 48V

Always confirm your original A/C compressor part number before ordering.

Important Fitment Information

The standard pulley does not fit B48P engines using A/C compressor:

• 64525A6FE35

It is also not compatible with transverse-mounted BMW/MINI engine applications, including vehicles such as:

• MINI Cooper

• BMW X1

• BMW X2

Bolt spacing can also be checked against the manufacturer's dimensional drawings before ordering.
