Simplify standalone engine management on your BMW B-series engine with the STROM Motorsports Valvetronic Lockout / Delete Kit, designed to mechanically lock the Valvetronic system at full valve lift.
Compatible with BMW B38, B46, B48, B58 and S58 engines, this kit provides a purpose-built solution for performance, motorsport and engine-swap applications running a standalone ECU where control of the factory Valvetronic system is not required.
By mechanically locking the eccentric shaft actuator system in the full-lift position, the engine can be configured to operate using conventional throttle control through a compatible standalone engine-management system.
For a B48 or B58 swap running standalone engine management, this Valvetronic lockout provides a simple mechanical solution that removes the need to develop standalone Valvetronic control.

Full Valve Lift Position
Once installed, the kit mechanically locks the Valvetronic system so that the intake valves remain at full lift.
Airflow and engine load can then be managed through the throttle body and appropriately configured standalone ECU.
Correct ECU calibration is essential after installation.

Important ECU Compatibility
This kit must not be used on an engine running the factory BMW ECU.
