Differential temperatures will rise during high performance track and drift applications. When these oil temps get too high, you will experience performance loss and risk of shorter differential life and / or differential failure.
An excellent way to control these critical temperatures, is with proper cooling via the VAC Differential Cooler Kit. A properly installed cooling kit will reduce differential wear, increasing the life of limited-slip clutches and general wear components.
This kit can be installed underneath or inside the trunk and is supplied with:
- Tilton Oil Pump
- Mocal Heat Exchanger Element
- All Fittings Necessary to Complete Install
- 3 metres (10 ft) length of #8 Aeroquip Hose
- Install Instructions
Hoses do not come pre-assembled, allowing for custom fitment. Please note that many 2006+ non-M BMW models are only fitted with fill-plugs and require a M22x1.5 bung welded in place of a drain-plug.
Common applications include high performance BMW E30, E36, E46, E9X 335i, and E9X M3 models.
This kit screws directly into the fill and drain plugs of your BMWs differential, requiring no modification to the diff housing for simple installation.
There are two kit options with or without a cooling fan.
